MBA Student Needed for IP Business Plan Competition

January 26, 2008 – 2:08 pm

Rob Adams asked me to forward this email to ES. If you’re interested, please contact me (Carter Rabasa) and I can get you Sam’s contact information.

Dear Professor Adams:I am a law student at UT and wanting to enter LES’s GRADUATE STUDENT BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION where participants submit a comprehensive business plan with a core IP licensing component and the winning team receives $10,000. I have the technology selected and need an MBA student to help me with some of the components. Professor Nichols referred me to you.

The details of the program are here: http://www.lesfoundation.org/pdf/2008CompetitionGuidelines.pdf

Specifically, the MBA student would assist in developing:

i. Market Analysis and Marketing Strategy
ii. Operations
iii. Management
iv. Summary Financials, including details of any licensing agreements

Ideally the student would have tech and licensing experience.
