Naruby Schenker |
Naruby is a MBA 2010 candidate at McCombs. She will graduate in May 2010 with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. Prior to coming to McCombs, she spent six years at Eli Lilly and Company holding several positions including internal auditor and more recently Six Sigma Black Belt. Naruby graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Finance and a minor in Technology and Management. |
Patrick Callahan |
Patrick is an MBA 2010 candidate at the McCombs School of Business, concentrating in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Prior to attending McCombs, Patrick worked in PricewaterhouseCooper’s Assurance practice in Austin, TX. At PwC, Patrick worked on a variety of audit engagements for public and private entities ranging from Fortune 15 corporations to local venture capital funds. These engagements included performing a variety of audit procedures and tests of controls in conjunction with SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. Patrick is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas as of 2007. Patrick is originally from Houston, TX and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 and with his Masters in Public Accounting from the University of Texas in 2006. |
Edward LeBreton |
Edward F. LeBreton IV is a 2010 MBA candidate at the McCombs School of Business. He is concentrating his studies in Entrepreneurship and Finance.
Prior to business school, Eddie worked in equity trading, as a Business Management Analyst at the Investment Technology Group, in equity research, as a Technology Consultant with FactSet Research Systems, and in international relations, as an Associate Advisor at the National Council on US-Arab Relations. Currently, Eddie is an Associate Producer for Venture Voice, a podcast designed for “entertaining entrepreneurship,” and an Advisor to Minggl, a software company focused on social network management. Eddie graduated with a double major in Business Administration and Economics and a minor in Engineering Studies from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003. |
Tim Losie |
Tim Losie is an MBA student at the McCombs School of Business, class of 2010, where he is concentrating on finance and entrepreneurship. Prior to business school Tim worked in the insurance industry in New York City and Denver, most recently as a broker where he negotiated deals that provided financial protection for financial institutions and their boards of directors and C-level officers. Currently, Tim serves as an officer in the Graduate Business Wine Club (Treasurer) and the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Association (VP of Spas), and he co-owns a spa consulting firm. Tim graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Economics. |
Jonathan Richard |
Jonathan Richard is a 2010 MBA candidate student concentrating in strategic marketing and entrepreneurship. He began his career at Abbott Laboratories as a part of the engineering professional development program where he took on a variety of engineering, regulatory, supply chain, process improvement, and project management roles across multiple divisions. He then spent 2yrs as a program manager in Abbott’s Diagnostics Division, ultimately earning his project management professional (PMP) certification. Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
At McCombs, Jonathan is an officer in the Marketing Fellows, Entrepreneurship Society, and Consortium Fellows Business Association. He is also an active member of the Graduate Consulting Group, the Black Graduate Business Association, and has participated in multiple marketing and consulting projects. |
Shannon Tatz |
Shannon is an MBA candidate at McCombs and will graduate in 2010. Prior to coming to McCombs, Shannon was a Fulbright Scholar working on Fair Trade product marketing and distribution in Ecuador. While abroad, Shannon fell in love with startups as she consulted with cooperatives on how they could grow their businesses while also helping their communities through the Fair Trade network. She graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a degree in International Studies. |

Carter Rabasa |
Carter graduated in May of 2009 with a specialization in Entrepreneurship. In addition to attending the McCombs School, Carter owns and operates DCK Sports LLC, a social recreational sports business that offers after-work activities and games to thousands of young adults in Washington, DC.Carter graduated from the College of William and Mary, with a BS in Economics and Computer Science. |
Ron Zboril |
Ron graduated in May 2009 with a concentration in Finance. Prior to coming to McCombs, Ron was a Trader and Portfolio Manager for Sage Advisory Service, Ltd. Co. in Austin. He worked on their fixed income trading desk for several years and truly enjoyed the entrepreneurial spirit of the quickly growing firm. He is a graduate of Baylor University where he earned three degrees: Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Management. He was also a four year letter-winner and team captain of the Baylor Baseball team.In his free time Ron enjoys homebrewing beer, fly fishing, tying flies and building fly rods, working on his family’s ranch and spending time with his family. His long-term career goals involve “being his own boss one day.” |
Rajiv Bala |
Rajiv graduated in May 2009 with concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending the McCombs School, he spent five years at Texas Instruments as the Marketing Manager of Automotive Infotainment and as an Applications Engineer in the Digital Radio Group. Rajiv earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rice University in 2002. He is currently interning with S3 Ventures and is a vice president of both the Entrepreneur Society and the Energy Technology Group. |
Will Shoellkopf |
Will Schoellkopf is an MBA student at the McCombs School of Business, class of 2009. Previously, Will worked as an Associate Relationship Manager for Frost National Bank in Dallas, TX, primarily in the commercial middle-market lending group, where he learned about financing everything from cotton gins to insurance companies. Additionally, Will was a volunteer teacher of English as a Second Language in the Dallas area.Will earned his B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the Graduate Finance Association, Graduate Marketing Network, and the Sport Entertainment and Media Association in addition to ES. |
Scott Chiou |
Scott graduated in May 2009 with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending the McCombs School, Scott spent over six years with Avatier Corporation, a startup software company focusing on identity management in San Ramon, CA. At Avatier, Scott’s responsibilities focused on designing new technologies, managing IT security, and directing customer service.Scott graduated from Pomona College with a BS in Economics. |
